The last few years I have been developing a series of paintings entitled Suffolk Pink. Here are pics of the series so far. They are based on the area of Suffolk near to Manningtree train station, Constable Country, near to Flatford Mill. ’Suffolk Pink’ refers to the exterior pink paint traditionally used on Suffolk houses.

Barbara Taylor Jewell, who passed away in November. The photo was taken in 1947 when she was a freshman entering Clark College (now Clark-Atlanta University) in Atlanta, Georgia.
